With the Tractatus, Ludwig Wittgenstein foresaw the end of philosophy. But he becomes growingly skeptical about his own philosophy. Logico-Philosophicus insists that expression in language is the dead-end of epistemology. He later retracted this idea. Nevertheless, Wittgenstein still remains as the central figure of modern analytic philosophy.
